The Arboretum circa 1977.
Visiting today, it’s hard to believe that the OAC Centennial Arboretum Centre once stood in the middle of an open field. So many people had a literal hand in growing this land into the inspiring hub for research, learning, and outreach that it is today. In the coming months, I look forward to sharing some of the fascinating history and stories held in the Arboretum archives.

Join Kitty and Jenny Wednesdays at 12:15 for the Wednesday walk as they explore the grounds on a 50 minute hike. It is a wonderful way to explore The Arboretum grounds as nature begins to awaken for spring. The walk is free and you should meet at the kiosk at the end of the promenade closest to campus if you are interested in participating.
